July Manifesto
The July OLW challenge was t0 come up with a manifesto for the month.
Since we both negotiate a considerable amount in our daily lives we decided that what we want to hear right now is 'yes' (as in we are on your team)!
The prompts are easy and not terribly crafty but serve to remind us that a good negotiation provides rest.
These two pals have aced how to negotiate with one another.
They started their summer with a tour at Colossal Cave Mountain Park
where our amazing tour guide led us through a maze of steps in a pleasant 70 degrees.
Overnight tours or adventurous free climbs are offered in this hidden treasure.
Words chosen for her special day.
'Now we are Six'
On this steamy summer eve our Arizona skies delivered
But first a little roll in the grass
Flight through the air
and of course flames for the children
Our youngest grandson even took a dip in the pool and is now training for the olympics.
He is a little spark plug that lights up our lives.
Talk about a good sport!
Nonie has years of practice posing for the camera and thankfully she laughs along.
Love this lady!
I tested out my new Cricut machine with these dolphins to compliment the theme.
Blue icing completed the fete.
This keepsake box was created for Miss Della.
You might remember she visited Montreal last year about this time while her mamma was pregnant with her so I kept the spirit of la Belle Province in the design.
I am also plugging along with a summer chemistry class hosted on line by Tim Holtz.
Here are a few of the tags created using the new techniques.
Summer is only halfway over and already we have had 2 mini escapes so that we could practice our 'One Little Word' for 2016.
I recently had an idea for our sleepovers but was unable to find the perfect pillowcases so what's a girl to do?
Why make them of course!
I practiced some french seams and here is the finished product.
So many projects...so little time!
These days it is all about the grands in our lives.
So many babies...so little time!
We are blessed beyond words.
