My fascination with reuse/recycle continues. If you play around on Pinterest you may have seen this great reuse of coffee filters.
Fold them in half
Quarter, Eigths and Sixteenths until they look like this and then string them on a VERY strong thread.
They will look like this then just tie both ends tight. This is where the strong string comes in.
And ta da... fan it out for a holiday pom pom!
Also kept my hands busy using up some old buttons and extra yarn. Not sure what I will use them for yet but they are super cute!
Here is the prompt from Ali Edwards this month for our One Little Word Project. We had to write a letter to ourselves. I just used Gesso on a piece of turquoise card stock and drew some lines. I have been know to argue with a level so the lines could not be avoided!
Out with fall and in with winter.
We love the season of Advent and the anticipation of His coming. We are filled with hope and will spend some time each day in relection with the help of these cards designed by Ann Voskamp.
We await winter too as we celebrate 81 degrees in Tucson on this Thanksgiving 2014.
